Christine and Peter Darg

Christine and Peter, well-known for The Jerusalem Channel and Exploits Ministry, have been a dynamic duo in journalism and ministry in Israel since 1975. Christine's rare ability to connect with diverse communities, including Orthodox Jews, Arabs, and Christians, is truly remarkable.

David Kiern

A few years ago, Mike Isley brought David Kiern to our home. We showed the now famous short film; I AM ISRAEL. I thought, "someday we will say David Kiern "slept here". He is a very talented young man with a passion and a love for the Land of Israel and the Jewish People. That love and respect for the Jewish people transfer when he films Eretz Israel and connects the viewer's hearts to the Promises of God.

Colonel John Sommerville and Mary

John has been pivotal in my Israel journey since 2009. He leads Israel trips, is an author, and a compelling speaker, with "The Accidental Presidents Who Became Blessers of Israel" being a standout book.

David Wilder

David Wilder, former English Spokesperson for the Jewish Community of Hebron, has been a pivotal figure in my journey in Jewish-Christian relations. His wisdom and guidance have been invaluable, shaping my understanding and love for Hebron and its history.

Diane Benjamin and Jerry Benjamin

Diane and Jerry Benjamin are influential figures in North Dallas, known for Diane's renowned Shabbat dinners and activism, and Jerry's involvement in Jewish War Veterans affairs. Despite health challenges, Diane remains dedicated to political activism, providing invaluable support to many.

Dr. Robert and Janet Mawire

Before meeting them, I admired their pioneering work in Christian-Jewish relations through a YouTube video. Hosting them twice was an honor. Notably, Pastor Robert raised millions for Ariel's development and formed a lasting friendship with Mayor Ron Nachman. He remains an accessible and inspiring speaker despite his global commitments.

Dr. Rusty Maisel

Recently passed away but was long recognized as an authority on manuscript traditions and early printing history. His decades of practical research led him to design and build several full-size, working replicas of the Gutenberg Printing Press. He was always a joy to have in our home. His lasting work is the Enduring Word Museum, John Sliffe is carrying on his work.

Dr. Tim and Virginia Shepherd

The Shepherds, devoted Christians, have spearheaded efforts to foster genuine friendship with the Jewish community, earning admiration in Dallas and Israel. Their unwavering support for Jewish causes and inclusive gatherings have solidified their cherished place as family friends.

Dror Vanunu

An early visitor, he represented the Gush Katif Refugees, highlighting the complexities of Israeli history. His advocacy underscored the futility of land concessions for peace.

Ethan and Julie Sironi

Julie and Ethan have been wonderful dinner guests and have profoundly influenced our family and business. Julie's deep love for Israel and her remarkable ability to connect with the Jewish people are truly inspiring. Her journey is ongoing, and her impact will only continue to grow.

Moshe Bar Zvi

Richard, co-founder of The Clarion Project, addresses extremism threats, emphasizing online dangers. Jim Penrose, their new Chief Information Officer, brings extensive cybersecurity and counterterrorism expertise from his tenure at the US National Security Agency.

Rabbi Shlomo Abrams

He's a compassionate rabbi from the Dallas Area Torah Association who generously shares Torah wisdom and hosts events. Alongside his wife, they lead tours to Israel, even with newborns.

Rabbi Yehuda Glick

A prominent figure in the Religious Zionist movement, he initially intimidated me as a Knesset Member, but we've since had personal discussions during his three stays at our home. Known for advocating Jewish prayer rights on the Temple Mount, he embodies the vision of Isaiah 56:7 for a House of Prayer for all nations.

Rabbi Yosef Abrams

Rabbi Shlomo Abrams introduced me to his father, Rabbi Yosef, sparking insightful discussions on Christian-Jewish friendship. Rabbi Yosef's Torah lessons emphasized the need to bridge the gap between our communities.

Sondra Oster Baras

Sondra, from Ohio, has been like family since our first meeting in 2011. A passionate advocate for Israel's settler movement, she bridges gaps between Christians and Jews. With expertise in law and Torah teachings, she fosters understanding between our communities.

It was delightful hosting Yifa during her brief vacation with our mutual friend Judy Kadish, Director of Americans for a Safe Israel. Yifa, who had recently become Chief of Staff for Gilad Erdon, the Israeli Ambassador to the U.S. and the U.N., engaged in thought-provoking discussions, including the impact of being a Third Generation Holocaust Survivor.

Bob Odell

Bob, a hi-tech entrepreneur and philanthropist from Austin, Texas, is renowned for his impactful life testimonies and dedication to Jewish and Israel-related causes. As a prolific author and speaker, he continues to bridge divides and inspire as a beacon of light in the Christian world.

David Rose

He has visited our home twice, once with ZAKA, an organization he represented for years, and later with the Israel Magen Fund. This latest organization tirelessly supports vulnerable Israeli communities and families in the Binyamin Region. With over 20 years of experience, he has managed and funded thousands of life-saving and recovery projects across Israel.

Judy Tashbook Safern

Formerly the publisher of Dallas Jewish Monthly, Judy is a writer and literary publicist now residing in Jerusalem. Known for her culinary skills, she once ran a kosher catering business and delights in hosting guests for Shabbos and Jewish holidays. Judy's talent extends beyond the kitchen; she is also a skilled connector, bringing together people and opportunities with ease.

Recognizing Luke's remarkable talents, particularly in business, I knew he was destined to contribute to HaYovel.
