Marc Provisor

I met Marc on my first visit to Israel with Americans for a Safe Israel. Early morning on the first day, we went to a hilltop in Samaria where a small family lived in an old bus. They were growing some produce on the rocky ground, and a bedsheet with the star of David was their flag. What amazed me was their happiness in being in Eretz Israel, in living out the prophesied Scriptures about the return of the Jewish people to the Land. From there, we saw another hilltop community that the army had just demolished because of pressure from the U.S. regarding “illegal building”. It was government land, and only the forces outside of Israel pushed their hand to demolish this little community. From there, we visited the community of Itamar and the very recent tragic event of the murders of the Fogel Family, parents, and their three little children. There is much to say about Marc. If he is available, he is always included in the Americans for a Safe Israel mission. Marc has the distinction of being in more firefights than anyone else in Israel and surviving. If memory serves, it is near 100. He is the head of security for One Israel Fund. You can contact him through them. Marc is trying to retire and become the artist he was trained to be in his early life. Go to Marcpro.art to see some of his work. I recently bought a print from him to give to a Christian ministry that has been very supportive of Judea and Samaria. The backstory to the print is a few years before; he had forwarded a picture of him and his family (all IDF soldiers) standing under the Arch of Titus in Rome. If you are familiar with it, you know it depicts the Jews in chains and Temple treasures in their arms being carried away to Rome. He mentioned that he had his children with him and told them that it has been 2000 years since the Jewish State had existed with a Jewish army…but now they are back! For more, go to OneIsraelFund.org, a wonderful organization that fills in the security and social welfare gaps in Judea and Samaria—a worthy cause to donate to.
