Rabbi Richard Green

Another person I met through Mike Isley. is Richard is the co-founder of The Clarion Project, This organization works to expose and reduce the threat of extremism and to create a safer world. Richard and his family have stayed with us several times. He recently spoke to a Granbury group, and they were awakened to the immediate threat that is all about us, especially on the internet. They have recently hired Jim Penrose as their Chief Information Officer. His bio speaks for itself; you would do well to have Richard Green come and speak to your group. I asked Richard, the co-founder of The Clarion Project, why they started this. He said, as Jews and knowing their own history, they were especially sensitive to the plight of the Christians suffering under Isis. That is how it started. Jim Penrose has not been to our home, but this is the level of people that work with Clarion. Jim Penrose, has recently joined the staff as the Chief Information Officer of the Clarion Project and leads the Clarion Intelligence Network (CIN). Jim is a 17-year veteran of the US National Security Agency (NSA), specializing in Cyber and Counterterrorism operations. During his tenure at NSA, Mr. Penrose served in several senior leadership roles, including as the Technical Director for Counterterrorism during the time that Usama Bin Laden was brought to justice. He also was a founding member of the NSA/CSS Threat Operations Center (NTOC), where he served as the first NTOC Mission Manager and supported both offensive and defensive cyber operations planning and execution to counter terrorist use of the internet. President Obama conferred on Mr. Penrose the Presidential Rank Award for sustained exceptional performance; this award is only given to 0.008% of the federal workforce. He was awarded the National Intelligence Exceptional Achievement Medal by DNI Clapper for leading joint Counterterrorism operations with the FBI and CIA. He was spot promoted for his performance on the nation’s top priority of counterterrorism operations against Al Qaeda. In short, Jim was the highest-ranking intel official at the NSA during his employment there.
